Wetlands can be implemented with or without additions which can improve the treatment capacity. With the correct management practices, wetlands can maintain and enhance hydrologic processes and water quantity; reduce soil erosion; design and manage enhanced and created wetlands to accommodate changes in hydrologic variability.
